About Mindy Martell
Mindy Martell started the St. Paul, Minnesota-based Clothier Design Source, a design house and one of the first woman-owned apparel factories in the US to help clients get their ideas and products made by mentoring new entrepreneurs and helping them navigate the complicated apparel industry.
After working for several clothing lines, in 2003, she decided to quit the corporate world to create tools and programs for aspiring apparel entrepreneurs. She started a design house and one of the first woman-owned apparel factories in the US (Clothier Design Source), helping clients get their ideas and products made ever since. She has created and helped others create thousands of different products.
She also created the Apparel Academy course and wrote the resource book, Get It Made, earning her the title, "The Apparel Mentor". Mindy is member of the Board of Directors of the SEAMS association.
