A Tip of the Hat to Powell Andrews who is Senior Manager of Technical Services for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Powell estimated the weight to be approximately 50 lbs (22.67 kgs) if the pillow was stuffed with good feathers or 150 lbs (68.04 kgs) if the pillow was stuffed with foam.
The actual weight was 100 lbs (45.4 kgs) with 87 lbs (39.46 kgs) of gray goose down plus 13 lbs (5.9 kgs) of ticking.
Good effort, Powell.
