Long-time executive and president of Atlanta Attachment Co. Hank Little is retiring after 20 years with the mattress and home furnishings sewing equipment supplier. His retirement is effective December 31.
Little joined the wholly-owned subsidiary of HSM in 2003 as vice president of sales. Three years later he was named president of the company. Under Little’s leadership, the company expanded globally while it grew its product lines and entered multiple new markets.
Following the acquisition by HSM in 2016, Little led the commercial teams for the furniture and bedding business units of Hickory Springs and shared his automation expertise with projects across the organization. The company said Little’s dedication, commitment, and contributions have left a permanent mark on AAC and laid the foundation for a “new era of growth.”
“Hank’s 20-plus years of dedicated service helped shape AAC into the global leader for sewing automation it is today, and his invaluable contributions will be dearly missed,” said Mark S. Jones, HSM’s president and chief executive officer.
Upon retirement, Little will be spending more time with his family in Louisiana, fishing and “Jeeping.” He will remain with AAC in an advisory role.
HSM has named Trevor Fawbush general manager of AAC. In his new role, Fawbush will have overall leadership responsibility for the company, including sales and operations. He reports to Mark Strohmaier, president of diversified products and services for HSM.
“The collaboration has already started with Trevor, and I am confident in his ability to continue AAC’s leadership across the market segments we serve,” Little said.
Prior to joining AAC, Fawbush was president of Geo T. Schmidt, a global manufacturer of laser and pin marking equipment and parts for product identification and traceability. He brings 18 years of leadership experience to the position with other companies including Precision Machine Co. as president and chief executive officer, and as vice president of sales and service operations for Avery Weigh-Tronix.
“I am extremely honored and excited to be joining one of the most recognized and respected companies in the bedding industry,” Fawbush said. “My full focus will be to build upon AAC’s reputation of manufacturing innovative, high-quality equipment and parts, while providing superior technical services to our global customers.”
